ADMISSION SCHEDULE FOR SESSION 2024-2028

Our admission announcements and form submission period is from July  to august Students can obtain the admission form and prospectus from the college. Alternatively, students can apply through the DCNS  Website.

Once the form submission date is over, students will appear in the  DCNS entry test. For the  2024 admission, the expected date of the entry test is in september 2024.

After the entry test, results will be announced within one week, followed by the interview process. The finalization of the session 2024 interview results is expected in September, and classes for the new batch of the BSN program will commence in the first week of October 2024.

Admissions Criteria for Generic BSN

Admissions to DCNS Swat follow the criteria set by the Pakistan Nursing Council Islamabad.

Entry Test Requirements

  • Age: Applicants must be between 17 to 25 years of age at the commencement of the program.

  • Qualification: Minimum 50% marks in the Higher Secondary School Examination (F.Sc Pre-Medical only). The Pakistan Nursing Council and Khyber Medical University will only accept F.Sc Pre-Medical as the minimum requirement. F.Sc Pre-Engineering, F.Sc Computer Science, and F.A are not acceptable.

Other Requirements

  1. All applicants must attend and pass the entrance test and interview.

  2. The admission process will follow the college criteria, including marks aggregation, entrance test results, and interview evaluation.

  3. After clearing the entrance test, applicants will undergo a personality assessment through a detailed interview by a panel.

  4. Fee and admission procedures must be completed as stated in the college admission policy.

  5. Applicants must complete a health questionnaire, and acceptance into the program will only be granted upon receiving satisfactory health clearance.

  6. Applicants are required to complete all necessary vaccinations (at a reasonable charge) before coming into contact with patients.

  7. Applicants must sign a declaration form for any past criminal convictions and provide written consent allowing the college administration to check records when needed. The college administration reserves the right to take action or refuse admission based on any ambiguities or concerns regarding the applicant’s record.
